long time no post!

Wow, I was really on a roll there for a while huh?  Oh well.  So since my last post, a few things have gone on.  I spent almost a week by myself with Isaiah while Michael was in Houston spending time with his mom.  It really made me appreciate how hard it is to be a single mom!  Luckily I knew that this was coming up so I was prepared with easy meals from Trader Joe's.  Too bad in TN they don't sell $2 chuck since wine can only be sold the liquor stores.

we took a trip to starbucks one day after being cooped up together in the house.  this break lasted 10 min tops.

then we had a mother-son date a pancake pantry where isaiah had his 2nd celebrity sighting.  his name is paul mccrane.  he played a doctor on ER and also was in the series 24.  he was nice and smiled at isaiah the whole time.

then we worked on our surprise birthday gift for michael.  isaiah's first finger painting.  i have to admit i helped some by putting foot prints on the page and helping him smear paint around.  this is the painting drying.  i pulled the tape off afterward and it made a nice little picture.  thanks pinterest!

on isaiah's 9 month birthday, he transitioned to eating school lunches!  such a big boy now.  :)

then i flew by myself with isaiah to houston for maris' wedding and isaiah's baptism.  we got lucky and got an extra seat next to me to put his carseat.  although he didn't stay in it for very long.

let me tell you it is challenging nursing a 9 month old baby and be discreet!  I alway try to nurse him during take off and landing to prevent his ears from popping.  on the way home i just gave him his straw sippy cup and it seemed to work fine.

friday i had a "meet & greet" informal job interview with a local practice.  i think it went well as they have invited me for a more formal interview in a few weeks!


saturday we had maris' wedding.  isaiah looked so handsome in his tux and michael looked really handsome in his suite.  i think we clean up nicely!

isaiah's baptism was sunday.  he did really well and didn't cry while getting baptized.  hai took some really great pictures that i need to save.  but here's a snap show before getting to the church.  

then it was back to the grind.  back to work.  back to looking for a job.  highlight of work was getting my new macbook pro!  i love it!!
