we visited Nashville Zoo. it wasn't that impressive. you could walk around the whole thing in a couple of hours. isaiah enjoyed looking around and pointing at the animals, calling everything a dog. he rode his first carousel and hated it. he was scared when it went up and down and clung on to me for dear life! while we were there we saw a male giraffe trying to seduce a female giraffe. he never closed the deal but did stick his boy parts out for the world to see! later that day we decided to share with facebook our move home. michael and i got the shirts from etsy and i made isaiah's matching shirt since they didnt come in kids sizes.
quiet book to good use. it allowed us to have some time to enjoy a meal out at our favorite thai place.

week of the young child parade at isaiah's school. luckily i wasn't on service so i had a chance to go. it was fun!

isaiah has been doing this thing where he walks with his hands behind his back, wrist flexed, wiggling his fingers. im not sure where he gets this stuff from.
isaiah likes to walk around with his drum around his neck.
we drove out to franklin, tn which is around 30 min south of nashville. we ate a a really good bbq place. isaiah thoroughly enjoyed his grilled cheese sandwich. later on that day, i decided to buy some fresh local milk from our neighborhood produce store. it comes in a glass pitcher and the fat kind of separates a little so you have to mix it up.
